Benjamin Levy

Benjamin Levy, a self-taught artist born in Tel Aviv’s Yemenite quarter, drew lifelong inspiration from his immigrant upbringing. Despite dyslexia, he developed a unique artistic language, creating daily from dawn to dusk for over 65 years.

 

Splitting his time between New York and Israel, he held 120+ solo exhibitions and participated in 500+ group shows worldwide. His work, featured in major collections, reflects his vivid imagination, humor, and deep understanding of the human condition.

 

With his wife Hanna, a musician, he raised four children in a cosmopolitan, culture-rich environment, embracing life with wisdom, generosity, and an enduring love for nature and humanity.
